Alaska Here I Come!

I'm leavin' on a jet plane I'm going to Alaska! Cooper Landing in the Kenai area to be exact! Yesterday, I talked on the phone with the woman who hired me and she offered me a lead housekeeping position! HECK YES! This will involve more resposibility and other good bonuses. I am way excited! Nervous- yes that would only be normal. I'll be leaving in May and back in August. I'm excited to see what this summer will bring. I'm excited to live in Alaska; a place I have always wanted to see and now get to experience it for a few months and live in the beauty of the mountains! Masaya Ang Aking Puso :)

Alaska Adventure

I applied for a job with Princess Tours in Alaska a couple of weeks ago. This week I was offered the job. Lots to think about! Since I was little girl Alaska has been on my list of places I want to visit. And this job would give me the not only opportunity to visit, but to live there for the summer! The job offered to me is a housekeeping position. I would like housekeeping experience. I think it's a good idea to have some experience in each job in the lodging industry. Why not, start with housekeeping. Next week, I will calling them to give them my answer. It would be an adventure- an adventure that I feel I've been looking for and wanting. A Guy Named Guy

Today, was spent as most Wednesdays are- morning classes, no work, lunch and chatting with Guy until early afternoon. Chatting with Guy has become one of new favorite activities. Why? I can open up and he truly seeks to understand. By asking questions and sharing of his own. I enjoy the conversations we have. I like his perspective, because it's well thought out and meaningful. I enjoy spending time with this guy- he's a good guy :) And as Guy would now ask for a more descriptive word then just "good guy". I shall give you one- he's honest and wants to know things about me and is not just being 'polite'. He's honorable. I'm happy and grateful I can call him friend. A guy named Guy.

Aware of Me

I know Heavenly Father is aware of me. I know He knows and needs me. He knows my personality- talents, strengthens, weaknesses, my favorite things, all of it! He's into the details! I am who I am because of Him and working on becoming who He knows I can become- what He wants me to be. Seek, seek, seek, progression, progression, progression.

I'm currently working on a blog with my floral designs- mostly wedding bouquets. I'm excited to get it moving and further develop the talent.

Let The Temple Enter You

Last night we had the opportunity of attending the Draper Temple open house. It was awesome! I enjoyed being there with my family, even though we never met up with Buddy and Jenny. Stephanie, Robby, and their baby came with us as well. It was fun to have them with us. The temple is beautiful! I love the peace and beauty that abides in the temple and is in you while you are there and when you've left. Lately, I've been thinking about how temple worship- what it means to me and how vital it is. I've heard the saying many times- enter the temple and let the temple enter you. Gusto kong pumasok ang templo sa akin- sa aking puso at binabaguhin ng templo ako sa pamamagitan ng pagsamba sa templo at tinatupad ko ang mga tipan.

"Back, back, back to school again"

"Back, back, back, to school again" yeah it's a cheesey song. Back to school I went this week. It's good to be back, even though this week I feel like I haven't had enough sleep, it's been good. This semester I have a variety of classes yet again and this is my first semester ever without an art class. I'm not sure what I'm going to do! It's crazy to think in all my semesters of school I have taken at least one art class a semester. I love art! I'm figuring out what I can do to minor in it- one it would be awesome to have an art minor and second don't let all those credits from art classes slip away into some random place of floating useless credits. It's great to be in school again after a long break I feel refreshed and ready to be back in to the groove of school.

Nagpapasalamat ako para sa aking patotoo tunksol kay JesuCristo at kanyang pagbabayad-sala at ebanghelyo. Nagpapasalamat ako para kay JesuCristo. Mahal ko siya at alam ko na mahal niya ako at namatay siya para sa akin at nabuhay siya para sa akin. Buhay siya at nakilala niya ako at naradadaman niya ang lahat na naradadaman ko. Alam niya ang mga mabuting bagay, pagsubok ko, at lahat lahat sa aking buhay. Sa pamamagitan niya maaring ako maging malinis. Masaya ang aking puso dahil sa kanya.
