Looking Outward Together
"Love does not consist of gazing into each others eyes, but looking outward in the same direction." Today as I was driving I this quote came to my mind. I can't remember who said it, but it's one that I have loved for awhile now, but only now I am really beginning to understand what it truly means.

When It's For You
So the other day I came across this song. I love love love it! Cheesy well yeah okay a little, but that's what I like. If you can tell me what movie this song is in I will treat you to an ice cream. (and no internet searches) ;)
Offer me your hand
And I will give my heart
Ask me for a sketch
And I'll paint a work of art
And I know I can
When it's for you
In the light of day
We all believe we can
It's when we're in the dark
That we need a helping hand
Ooh, mine is always there
When it's for you
I can't help it
I can't hide it
It's what you bring out in me
'Cause you give me inspiration
Nothing's too much
When it's for you
And I will give my heart
Ask me for a sketch
And I'll paint a work of art
And I know I can
When it's for you
In the light of day
We all believe we can
It's when we're in the dark
That we need a helping hand
Ooh, mine is always there
When it's for you
I can't help it
I can't hide it
It's what you bring out in me
'Cause you give me inspiration
Nothing's too much
When it's for you

I Randomness
I want to see, be near, and talk with Cowboy.
I am craving Filipino food- adobo and sinigang na baboy to be more specific oh and a halo halo :)
I am thinking of cutting my hair- again.
I am excited for Spring Break- no classes, but most exciting Mark will be here from WA!
I enjoyed listening to New Kids on the Block as I made deliveries for work today.
I am ready for Spring- it's close I feel and I see it! This week I saw six nests in one tree.
I think I should go and take a picture of that tree.
I am going to ride my bike.
I am looking into a fun, new opportunity. (More on that another time.)
I am grateful tomorrow is the Sabbath day.
I love time with my family.

A Love Song I Love
"To Make You Feel My Love"
And the whole world is on your case
I would offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
I know you haven't made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I've known it from the moment that we met
So no doubt in my mind where you belong
I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue
I'd go crawling down the avenue
There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love
The storms are raging on a rolling sea
And down the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
But you ain't seen nothin' like me yet
There ain't nothin' that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
Make you happy, make your dreams come true
To make you feel my love
I have always loved this song. I heard three different artists cover the songs and depending on my mood like one over the other. If you haven't heard this song- look it up right now and listen to it! If you have heard it- what do you think of it? Who covers it better?
Oh, today I am still catching myself smiling randomly as I remember and reflect on my latest time with Cowboy ;) Masaya Ang Aking Puso :)

Grateful Today
- quality na quality time with Cowboy
- the sky this morning was beautiful
- catching myself smiling during class or walking down the hall as I remembered something from last night
- hearing "I knew it was you"
- a very sweet bestie who I was able to have a nice long chat with today
- carrot cake
- sweet, quiet answers and reassurances
- institute this morning
- a call from Rebekah
- reading the predictions for the bracket- March Madness is almost here!
- new notebook
- the quote in my email that said, "patience is bitter, but the fruit is sweet"

What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?
There is a random New Year's Eve song I like and since New Year's Eve is Friday and this is kind of on my mind- I thought I would share the lyrics. (Cowboy this one is for you ;)
Maybe it's much too early in the game
Ah, but I thought I'd ask you just the same
What are you doing New Year's
New Year's Eve?
Wonder whose arms will hold you good and tight
When it's exactly twelve o'clock that night
Welcoming in the New Year
New Year's Eve
Maybe I'm crazy to suppose
I'd ever be the one you chose
Out of a thousand invitations
You'd receive
Ah, but in case I stand one little chance
Here comes the jackpot question in advance
What are you doing New Year's
New Year's Eve?
