I decided for this post that I would pick a random picture and write about it. I love and miss these people I am photographed with. The top picture is the day I met my "nanay" in the mission. Sister Miguela. I remember standing in a classroom with my batch at the church as we were told who are companions were. Sister Miguela was patient and kind. She believed in me and wanted to help me be a good missionary. I was only with her for one transfer(six weeks), but am so grateful that she is my "nanay". Mahal kita ate! The bottom picture is with my "nanay" and first "anak"- Sister Alburo. Sister Alburo was hardworking and helpful as well. She also took good care of me especially when I was really sick. She has a beautiful singing voice and was so willing to do what it took to be a good missionary. The sister on the far left is Sister Fuentes. We became companions about six months after this transfer started. Sister Fuentes and I were only together for one transfer (six weeks), but we had a lot of success and fun too! I am grateful for each one of my companions. I learned a great deal from each one of them. I am grateful that I was able to serve with such awesome women.
