A Dog Owner

One day I'll have a dog of my own. I am sure it has to do with always having one. When I was born we had five. For most of my growing up years and even now we have just one. I want an english bulldog or even a beagle. I'm sure it won't surprise you when I say I have a name all ready picked out. Hope the future Mr. wants one.

Peaceful Mornings

This last semester I had a class at 7:30 a.m. That's early, however, there is some awesome things about having class that early- good parking, out earlier, my favorite- seeing the sunrise. Below are a couple of pictures I took with my cell phone. The mornings are so peaceful and calm. As I walk to class in the early morning I pray and ponder about many different things. If I know a class is going to be particularly stressful that day I really soak in the stillness of the morning. One way I feel the love of God for me is through the creations- especially sunrises and sunsets. I am thankful that next semester I have another 7:30 a.m. class to enjoy the sunrises. Exciting News Today

This semester I was enrolled in an introduction to seminary teaching class at the institute. Today I received my letter inviting me to enroll in the next class! I am super excited to take this next step in the process. In this class I will be given the opportunity to do a 10-day teaching trial at Mountain View High School. This was good news today and the pick-me-up I have needed as this week has been rough with school assignments. I am excited to see what the future will bring. Masaya Ang Aking Puso :)

Because I Love Him

I actually came across the quote today on someone's comment on facebook. This is something I needed reminding of recently. The two things that stand out the most to me in this quote is acceptance and "obedience prolonged". I am learning more and more about God's timing. Some of the things I am learning and what I am being patient about is deeply personal, however, I want to share that I know God love us and I know He is fully aware of me and knows this desire of mine. I am so thankful to know Our God is a loving, patient, trusting, and all-knowing. I am learning He is never early or late in fulfilling His promises to us. I am choosing to remain obedient to Heavenly Father. This is something I work really hard at and is what I want to do, because I love Him.
